No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.

Wear acid protection gloves, clothes and goggles. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

2.1 Remove operating and display unit with control module

With CODE (352a) COMAND operating and display system

2.2 Remove radio

Remove stowage compartment below radio

NOTE:  When removing radio.

Remove sound-proofing measure

Unscrew screws (1)

NOTE:  Three screws.

Remove left vent flap actuator motor (M2/19) from AC housing (2)

Disconnect connector (3) from left vent flap actuator motor (M2/19)

Install in the reverse order

Synchronize left vent flap actuator motor (M2/19)
