AR07.03-P-1451AA Remove/Install Fuel Rail With Injectors (ME-SFI)

Remove/Install

DANGER:

-

Risk of explosion from fuel igniting, risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin from
contact with fuel.

-

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.

-

Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

-

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Remove cover on front side of engine

Remove cylinder head cover trim panel or air cleaner

NOTE:  Remove cylinder head cover trim or air filter by lifting upwards from the cylinder head covers.

Take off resonance housing (2/1)
-

On vehicles with air cleaner mounted on vehicle side.

4.1 Remove plastic cover

-

Remove screw (1/4).

4.2 Loosen the engine wiring harness from the fuel distributor

Release fuel pressure through service valve (1/1)

NOTE:  Collect fuel.
