AR54.15-P-1310P Remove/Install Driver's Side Interior Fuse Box

DANGER:
Risk of explosion from gas Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte Risk of injury from caustic burns to eyes
and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking

-

Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers

Disconnect ground cable of battery

CAUTION:  Do not connect quiescent current retention device

Unclip side cover (1) (direction of arrow) and take off

NOTE:  Installation: Ensure the guides are correctly located

Unplug fuses

Fuse assignment as-built configuration

Unscrew screws (2)

See "Special Tools - Torx bit set" given below.

Remove interior fuse box (F34)

Unscrew nut (3)

Take off cable of circuit 30 of interior fuse box (F34)

Release contact receptacles and pull out of interior fuse box (F34)

CAUTION:  Release carefully to avoid damaging

Installation:
Note installed position of cables (mark for identification) Ensure that the female contacts are correctly locked.

Install in the reverse order.
