Move steering wheel (32) to horizontal position

NOTE:  Front wheels in straight-ahead position

Remove electronic ignition key

NOTE:  The electronic steering lock (ESC) is locked

Connect quiescent current retention device

DANGER:

and through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking

Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked
containers

Disconnect ground cable of battery

NOTE:  Installation.Code radio, set clock, normalize window regulator and set timer for stationary heater if fitted
