Power Window Control Module: Description and Operation
Right Front Door Control Module - N69/2

Purpose

The front passenger door control module (N69/2) senses the window position of the passenger door and stores this information on the passenger
compartment bus (CAN B). The pushbutton control module reads in the signal of the passenger door window position via the CAN B bus to obtain a
better control quality when the window is open.

The purpose of the right front door control module (N69/2) is as follows:

Reading in the following switches:

Right front power window switch (S20/1s3)

Right rear power window switch (S20/1s4)

Right front power seat switch group (memory) (S92/2)

Reading in the following sensors

Position sensor far right electrically adjustable and heated exterior rearview mirror (M21/2)

-

Hall signals far right front power window motor (M10/4)

-

A26/2 Right front IR receiver (A26/2)

Switching loads via semi-conductor switches:

Right front power window motor (M10/4)

-

Right rear power window motor (M10/6)

-

Right front door central lacking motor (M14/5)

Motors for right electrically adjustable and heated exterior rearview mirror (M21/2)

Mirror heater (M21/2r1)

Automatic dimming inside rearview mirror (M21/2h1)

Turn signals far right electrically adjustable and heated exterior rearview mirror (M21/2)

Right front door entrance/exit lamp (E17/4)

Control illumination features far all switches connected to door control module

The right front door control module (N69/2) is connected with the passenger compartment CAN bus far exchanging data.

NOTE:  The right front door control module (N69/2) is coded as driver or passenger control module via the EIS control module (N73). This description
applies by analogy for vehicles with right-hand steering.
