The base coats represent the color-providing components of the paint system.
With a metallic finish, effect materials are used as well as the color pigments. Only the water is flashed off during WBL intermediate drying.
Cross-linking with the clearcoat does not occur until after all coats have dried.

Clear varnish:
This final coat is the protective component of the paintwork structure and therefore has excellent technical-mechanical and chemical-resistant
properties and is extremely scratch-resistant and weather-resistant.
