Illustrates Right Engine Mount, Part 3

Remove

Remove engine suction fan ducts in front of air cleaner

Detach from above air cleaner vertically from the cylinder head covers.

Put on engine support clamp

Dismount top engine mount (1) from engine support (2)

Raise engine slightly

DANGER:
-

Risk of death. Death may result if vehicle slips or topples from the lifting platform.

-

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points
specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Raise vehicle.

Take off bottom engine compartment panel at front

Dismount engine mount (1) from below front axle carrier (3)

Take out engine mount (1) toward outside between front axle carrier (3) and body

NOTE:  observe the environmental protection regulations for the disposal of engine mounts Dispose engine mounts into mixed scrap.

Install

CAUTION:  Read notes on self-locking nuts and bolts.

Mount top engine mount (1) on engine support (2)

NOTE:  The anti-twist lock (a) at engine mount (1) must be seated in the retaining groove (b) in the engine support (2)

Lower engine

Mount bottom engine mount (1) on front axle carrier (3)

NOTE:  The engine mount (1) must be seated in the elevations at front axle carrier (3).

Fit on bottom engine compartment panel at front

Dismount engine support clamp

Install air cleaner housing

NOTE:  Installation:  Moisten slightly with sliding compound the retaining rubbers on the cylinder head covers and the sealing ring of the hot
film mass air flow sensor in the air cleaner housing.
