Body - Panorama Roof Panel Won't Open or Move

Panorama Roof Panel Does Not Open or Move

If you encounter instances where the panorama roof panel's motor may not have enough power to open the roof when new, it may be due to the effects of
temperature and expansion of materials. Please follow the below procedure to remedy.

Remedy:

1.

Start engine or supply vehicle with 13.5 volts from an external source.

2.

Open the sunshades.

3.

Open the panorama roof to approximately 15 cm (6 inches) and close again. Repeat this 50 times to achieve a "break-in" effect.

Note:

1.

If the power of the motor is too weak to open the roof, manually push the roof open, using your hand, at the rear as the switch is being activated.

2.

If the motor becomes too hot, it will be turned off by the internal thermal switch. Let the motor cool for 30 seconds then continue with procedure.
