The micro-encapsulated locking bolts and self-locking nuts may only be used once. If parts of the trailer hitch are removed, new micro-encapsulated
bolts and self-locking nuts must be used when reinstalling these parts.
On trailers with an anti-swerve device it is not necessary to grease the ball (refer to trailer instructions). Advise the customer accordingly.
Advise the customer to read the "Trailer coupling" and "Towing a trailer" sections in the vehicle owner's manual.

- with CODE (550) Trailer hitch
1. Oil the lock.
Use automatic transmission fluid.
2. Oil hand wheel axle (1) between ball neck and hand wheel, and release shaft (5).
Use engine oil.
3. Grease guide with balls (2), release device (3) and guide surface (4) slightly.
Use grease or multipurpose grease.
4. Lightly grease ball neck mounting at the points marked with arrows.
Use grease or multipurpose grease.
