4. Guide trailer hitch wiring harness (1) along existing wires to the installation location of the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module

(N10/2) and secure.

5. Connect brown wire (br) to SAM central ground in rear (W55).

6. Plug violet 3-pin coupling (vi) into violet slot (15) of the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2).

The violet coupling (vi) is coded.

7. Plug the turquoise and back fuse holders (N10/2f17, N10/2f18) into the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and assign a

20 A fuse to each.

Fuse 17: turquoise holder with red/green wire (rt/gn)
Fuse 18: black holder with red/yellow wire (rt/ge)

Plug in fuse 18 in back holder only when towing a trailer, otherwise the battery could be drained by an external user.
