Seat Heater Switch: Description and Operation
Switching On Heated Seat

Function prerequisites:

-

Terminal 15R ON or terminal 15 ON

Function

-

Pressing the upper half of the button on the front left HS switch (N72/1s10) or front right HS switch (N72/1s11) switches on Stage 1 of the heated
seats.

-

Stage 1 is displayed by the right-hand LED illuminating in the switch.

-

Pressing the lower half of the button on the N72/1s10 or the N72/1s11 switches the heated seats to Stage 2.

-

Stage 1 is displayed by both LEDs being illuminated in the switch

-

The upper control field control module (N72/1) regulates the power output to the heating elements in the seats depending on the selected heating
stage.

The heater element's resistance wire is heated by the flow of current through it.
