AR83.10-P-2006P Remove/Install Actuator For Left Footwell Flap

- with CODE (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning

Risk of explosion from electrolytic gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte Injury hazard and danger
of burning skin and eyes when handling battery acid or handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking

Wear acid protection gloves, clothes and goggles Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Remove cover below instrument panel

NOTE:  Driver's side.

Remove bottom section of instrument panel on driver's side

Remove radio

Remove stowage compartment below radio

NOTE:  When removing radio.

Remove sound-proofing measure

Unscrew screws (1)

NOTE:  Three screws.

Remove left footwell flap actuator motor (M2/10) from AC housing

Disconnect connector (3) from left footwell flap actuator motor (M2/10)

Install in the reverse order

Synchronize left footwell flap actuator motor (M2/10).
