Remove left air intake hose

Filling (30a) power-steering pump

NOTE:  Fill up to approx. 10 mm below top edge.

Start engine

NOTE:  The steering system bleeds itself automatically.

Turn the steering wheel from stop to stop several times when the engine is running, refill with MB steering gear oil if necessary

CAUTION:  The power steering pump must not draw in air under any circumstances as the pump is destroyed by a lack of lubrication.

Power steering - check and correct oil level

Check steering system for leaks

If there are leaks, find cause and correct.
