Connect the new wiring harness to the trunk lid lock microswitch (Figure 7).

Route, and secure with wire ties, the new wiring harness along the existing wiring harness running down the left side of the trunk lid (Figure 8).

Continue routing, and securing with wire ties, the new wiring harness along the existing wiring harness running down the left hinge bracket for the
trunk lid, up along the left side of the trunk interior, and down to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (Figure 9).
19.
Connect the brown ground wire (B, Figure 3) of the new wiring harness to ground-point "VV6" (Figure 10), in front of the SAM control unit with
fuse and relay module.
