TO: ALL MERCEDES-BENZ CENTERS

REMOVAL OF STRUTS BETWEEN FRONT SUBFRAME AND FRAME RAIL
This Service Campaign has been initiated because DCAG has determined that on the affected vehicles the struts between the front subframe and frame
rail must be removed. The struts are ONLY intended for vehicles without 4MATIC. Dealers are to remove and discard BOTH struts and apply
preservation agent to both threaded studs at the longitudinal member in all affected vehicles.
Prior to performing this Service Campaign:
^
Please check VMI to insure the vehicle is involved and to determine if the vehicle has been previously repaired.

Please review the entire Service Campaign bulletin.
