Component Identification

The vehicle must be on its wheels for the measurement. Start measurement of inclination angle at transmission end. All four angles should be
measured in succession without interruption. An angle that has already been measured can be measured a second time if required. To do this, with
the Measurement menu displayed, press the STEP button repeatedly until the display indicates Ready to measure the relevant angle.

Clean transmission bore and surroundings (arrow) if necessary.

Select suitable adapter for transmission bore.

Remove measuring sleeve socket (020e) from adapter, insert in transmission bore and fix. Do so by turning lower threaded stud (020f) to left and
tightening.

Screw measuring sleeve adapter (020g) on to measuring sleeve socket (020e) and tighten all the way to transmission by hand. Ensure that the
measuring sleeve adapter (020g) contacts the surface of the transmission exactly.

Mount sensor mount (020c) with the two knurled bolts centrally on the sensor (020a).
