Remove front final-drive unit (50)

Drain and collect hyped gear oil via the intermediate shaft opening

Clamp front final-drive unit (50) to assembly stand

Remove bearing cover (54)

Remove O-ring (54a) from bearing cap (54)

NOTE:  Installation: Inspect O-ring, install new ring if necessary

Remove differential assembly (13) from front final-drive unit housing

Replace radial oil seal (33)

NOTE:  Coat sealing lip of radial seal with universal hyped gear oil

Install in the reverse order

9

Fill with lubricant for front final-drive unit

Remove/install Radial Sealing Ring Of Rear Axle Shaft At Rear Axle Housing
