Seat Heater: Description and Operation
Function Description of Front Heated Seats

The heated seats can be switched on with the front left or right heated seat switch (N25/5s1, N25/5s2). After pressing this switch (button) returns to its
non-actuated position. Stage I or II can be switched on by pressing the corresponding symbol once. Simultaneously one LED comes on for stage I and
both LED's for stage II. When the same symbol is pressed a second time the heated seat is switched off.

The switch-on time for both heating stages is limited by the heated seat control module (N25/5). The control module automatically switches over from
stage II to stage I after approx. 5 min. After approx. 30 ± 5 min the heated seat is switched off automatically.

The automatic heating sequence is terminated when the ignition is switched off (position 0). When the ignition is switched back on it is necessary to
press the heated seat switch (N25/5s1, N25/5s2) again.

The heating cushions (seat cushion, backrest) are connected in parallel. In stage I the heating cushions receive voltage pulses from the heated seat control
module (N25/5). The switch-on time is approx. 30 %.

If the battery voltage is less than 11 V, the heated seats are switched off automatically by the heated seat control module (N25/5) and the LED's in the
switch (N25/5s1, N25/5s2) flash.
