Combination Switch: Description and Operation
Location/Purpose/Design

Location 

The combination switch (S4) is attached to the steering column behind the steering wheel

Purpose

Control of following systems: Turn signals, high and low beam headlamps, headlamp flasher, windshield wiper, headlamp cleaning system (only
on model 202 with code 600a).

Design

The combination switch (S4) contains the following switching elements:
Turn signal switch (S4s1), headlamp flasher/headlamp switch (S4s2), low beam switch (S4s3), single-wipe/wash switch (S4s4), wiper speed switch
(S4s5), horn contact (S4s6), intermittent wipe (S4s7), slow wipe (S4s8), fast wipe (S4s9)
