Combination Switch: Description and Operation
Function

Turn signal switch (S4s1):

The turn signal switch (S4s1) has three positions:
Flashing off (b), flashing left (a) and flashing right (c).

The switch position is read in as a voltage coded signal by the electronic ignition switch (EIS) control module (N73).

Headlamp flasher/headlamp switch (S4s2)

As long as the headlamp flasher/headlamp switch (S4s2) is actuated circuit 15R is connected to circuit 56a. The headlamps are switched on directly
through the combination switch (S4).

Low beam switch (S4s3)

When the low beam switch (S4s3) is actuated circuit 56 is connected to circuit 56a and the head lamps are switched on directly through the combination
