Switch on multimeter (amps DC).

Carefully pull negative pole terminal on battery up and simultaneously connect negative (-) test cable below the pole terminal on the negative pole

Component Identification
NOTE: Do not interrupt circuit when pulling the negative pole terminal upward, because this would erase any faults stored. Completely remove
the negative pole terminal only after the multimeter test lead is firmly connected to the negative pole.

Route multimeter (2) with test cable (6) to right out of trunk or cargo area.

Close trunk lid or tailgate.
