Purpose
Distribution of GPS signal.
The antenna splitter (A2/5) is required only if the vehicle is equipped with TELE AID (code 347) and with

COMAND (code 352a) or
-
ICS (code 352b).

Active frequency splitter with power supply via coaxial cable (phantom power supply)

Function
The antenna splitter (A2/5) receives the signals from the GPS antenna (A2/49a2, A2/23) and distributes them to the TELE AID control module
(A35/8) and the navigation processor (A40/3n2) integrated into the COMAND operating, display and control module (A35/8).
