Fabricate a rod (shop made tool) made of either wood, plastic or metal:
^
Cut an 8 mm diameter rod to a length of 50 cm.
^
Round the ends of the rod.
^
Apply a mark (arrow, Figure 2) on the rod at 20 cm, measured from either end.
