Reinstall sliding roof frame. Refer to WIS documents as stated in step 1.

Condition B: 

Rattle noise from the tilting/sliding roof with the roof tilted up when driving at high speeds. The water drain gutter at the rear of the tilting/sliding
roof panel is not making sufficient/firm contact with the roof. The rattle noise is produced by contact between the water drain gutter and the tilting
brackets.

Remedy B:

1.

Remove molding and tilting/sliding roof panel. Refer to WIS document AR77.20-P-0500P (for 203), AR77.20-P-0500Q (for 209),
AR77.20-P-0500T (for 211) and AR77.20-P-0500F (for 215 and 220).

2.

Close tilting/sliding roof and move to the tilted position.

3.

Detach the clips fastening the water drain gutter to the tilting roof mechanism.

4.

Remove the water drain gutter through the gap between the glass and roof while in the tilted position.

5.

Carefully bend the water drain gutter an additional 5 mm more than the current curvature (Figure 5).

6.

Reinstall water drain gutter and all other components in the reverse order.
