High Pressure Safety Valve HVAC: Description and Operation
The pressure relief valve protects the refrigerant circuit against damage resulting from excessive pressure.
The pressure relief valve is designed as a pressure dependent wax valve. It begins to act if all other pressure-dependent safety devices can no longer
prevent a pressure increase in the A/C compressor. The wax withstands a pressure of < 35 bar. If the pressure increases to a value above 35 bar, the wax
is destroyed and the pressure is released to the resulting opening.
