Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Description and Operation

The refrigerant pressure sensor measures the refrigerant pressure and transfers it to the automatic A/C pushbutton control module.

The refrigerant pressure sensor measures the refrigerant pressure and transfers the value measured to the automatic A/C pushbutton control module Via
the left signal acquisition and actuation module and the CAN bus. This value is compared with a stored temperature/pressure curve. The refrigerant
pressure sensor operates within the range of 0 to 35 bar.

Switching off the A/C compressor

The A/C compressor is switched off at the following values:

- Refrigerant pressure < 1.75 bar   A/C compressor off
- Refrigerant pressure > 30 bar     A/C compressor off 

Switching on the electric engine/A/C electric fan 

The engine/A/C electric fan is switched on at the following values:

- Refrigerant pressure < 12 bar

- fan off

- Refrigerant pressure > 20 bar

- fan on (100%) 

- Refrigerant pressure 12 bar to 20 bar

- Infinite linear increase in fan speed (40 - 100 %).
