If this system message appears in the multifunction display (A1 p13), the activation sequence must be repeated.

System message

Occasionally, this system message or a pressure display without numerical values may be displayed for a short time instead of the pressure values.
This is the case when wheel sensors have recently been replaced or different wheels have been fitted. In these cases the tire pressure monitor system
checks whether the locations of the wheels have changed.

The pressure values are only displayed when the system has been able to match the signals to the wheels. Initially, the system message is displayed.
This system message is displayed until the transmitted signals are plausible again. The pressure display then appears without numerical values until the
initialization sequence is complete (total driving time max. 30 min).
