Wiring diagrams
-
The wiring diagrams are allocated to the well-known function groups 00-91. For easy identification of individual wiring diagrams, the systems are
listed alphabetically with details of function group / function sub-group in the "Search aid through all wiring diagram groups". See:
Diagrams/Diagram Information and Instructions/Search Aid Through All Wiring Diagram Groups OV00.01-U-1901FA
-
The wiring diagrams have been prepared as system block diagrams or control unit diagrams and made up as follows:
-
System block diagrams
All control units belonging to a system (e.g. ESP) are illustrated in block form. Components and signals, which are system or function related
to the control units, are illustrated with direction arrows.
-
Control unit diagrams
Control units are illustrated complete with all connected components. The illustrations start with the infeed of the control units.
The wiring diagrams also show the linking of possible variations and functions.
Linking, identified as variants, are framed and provided with a code or abbreviation.
Incoming modifications are described as variants 1 and 2.
-
The variants identified by the abbreviation "U", are listed in the legends. Remarks on the identification of variants by variants such as ESP are
listed in the "Abbreviations/Acronyms".
The signal and terminal identifications used are explained under "Abbreviations of signal and circuit designations for wiring diagrams"
OV00.01-U-1001-281A *(A5).
-
The specified vehicle ident. end numbers or user dates apply to the main series. Pre-series vehicles can have a lower vehicle ident. end number or
earlier user date.
-
Wire cross sections may differ from their illustration in the wiring diagrams.
