11. Connect red/yellow wire (removed from fuse carrier) to auxiliary wire (right arrow, Figure 5), which was spliced into circuit 30Z (step 5), using
approved splicing method (magnification, Figure 6). Secure wire splice to harness using cable ties.
Note:
Refer to S.I. 54/76 (May 1996) for proper method of splicing and connecting wires in a wire harness. Ensure wire splice has loop for strain relief and is
covered with premium quality electrical tape (e.g. 3M Scotch 33 [R]) which is resistant to heat.
12. Reinstall fuse carrier (left arrow, Figure 5) back into fuse box.
13. Reassemble in reverse order, reconnect battery negative terminal (refer to WIS or SMS; Grp. 54.10; job no. AR54.10-P-0003; for proper
initialization of electrical systems after reconnection of battery).
14. Erase all DTC's using StarDiagnosis (DAS) and road test vehicle.
