Remove spring link (6) at wheel carrier (7)

CAUTION:  Installation:  The rear-axle shaft must be horizontal when tightening the nut

Remove link rod torsion bar (6k) from wheel carrier (7)

Vehicles with code 489a (AIRMATIC)

Press track rod joint (4c) out of wheel carrier (7)

Remove thrust arm (5) from wheel carrier (7)

Except engine 275

Remove tension strut (3) from wheel carrier (7)
-

Except engine 275

Remove camber strut (2) from wheel carrier (7)
-

Except engine 275

Remove wheel carrier (7) from rear axle shaft (37)

CAUTION:  Do not damage rubber boots or rpm sensor rotor.

Fasten rear axle shaft (37) with wire

Remove rear axle shaft flange (10)

NOTE:  Only if brake caliper dust shield (112c) has to be removed.

Install in the reverse order

Perform chassis alignment check

NOTE:  After installation of new parts.
