- Rear axle center assembly dia. 210 [models 129.068/076, 208.374, 210.270/274, 215.375 /378, 220.170/175/178, 230.475/479]
- Rear axle center assembly dia. 210E

A new radial sealing ring and a new connecting flange with protection ring or a new rear axle shaft with protection ring were phased in as of 01.10.01.

This improves the seal at the connecting flange or at the rear axle shaft against dirt from outside.
If one of the two components (new connecting flange / rear axle shaft or new radial sealing ring) is replaced for the first time, then the following must
be observed:

If a new radial sealing ring is installed, a new protection ring must also be installed on the connecting flange or on the rear axle shaft.

If a new connecting flange (with new protection ring) or a new rear axle shaft (with new protection ring) is installed, a new radial sealing ring must
also be installed.

Only then is correct sealing guaranteed.
