Corrosion of Weld at Sealing Flange of Windshield and Rear Window
When replacing the windshield and/or rear window in the above models, corrosion may appear under the polyurethane sealant in the area of the MIG
weld (Figure 1). Remove the corrosion, clean the area (dust and grease free) and paint according to the guidelines from any one of the approved paint
suppliers as listed in DTB P-B-98.00/14a.
