Single PVC tube covering both wires (arrow, Figure 2) at the electrical connector (12, Figure 3) shown.

Heated washer hoses which do not require replacement are identified as follows:

1.

Part number 220 860 05 92

Or

2.

Part number 220 860 08 92 with two separate wire covering tubes per heater wire.

If a faulty heated washer hose is found, please follow the procedure, for the replacing the faulty heated washer hose.

NOTE: 

Prior to performing this procedure, please review entire contents of this bulletin.

1.

Remove ignition key from ignition lock.

2.

Open engine hood and raise to vertical position.
