MOST

Depending on the equipment, the COMAND controller unit communicates with the following control units via MOST:

Evaluation of input factors

The input factors are processed and evaluated by the COMAND controller unit.

LVDS lines are used to transfer picture and video signals.

Card reader for Personal Computer Memory Card International Association (PCMCIA) cards with MP3 files

CAN

The signals are transmitted via telematics CAN and central CAN. The functions resulting therefrom are described in the corresponding function
descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).

MOST

Diagnosis

The COMAND controller unit serves as the diagnostic interface for all control units at the MOST and at the telematics CAN. The errors that have
occurred can be read out via diagnostic CAN (CAN D) and data link connector (X11/4).
