2. Check back end of transmission line (arrow, Figure 2):

Support transmission tail shaft with under-lift floor jack then remove transmission cross member.

Disconnect back end of transmission line (arrow, Figure 2).

NOTE: Use long handled 3/8 inches ratchet to remove transmission line bolt.

If there is a restrictor (B, Figure 2) installed in the back end of the transmission line (arrow): Installation is correct - procedure is complete
(reassemble in reverse order).

If there is no restrictor (B, Figure 1) installed in the line: Installation of restrictor is INCORRECT. Stop and replace transmission. Please
submit a WSG pre-authorization form for approval. Please enter key word: "Restrictor". Submit transmission replacement under normal
warranty.

NOTE:  

The following allowable labor operation should be used when submitting a warranty claim for this repair:

Warranty Information

Operation: Inspect both ends of transmission line for restrictor (27-0000)

R and R lower engine panel (61-1087).

NOTE:  

Replacement of the transmission requires a separate line of repair and should not be included in the C1 Action claim.
