Connect quiescent current retention unit

caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead acid batteries.

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear acid-protective gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into
suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Disconnect ground cable of battery Notes on battery

3.1 Remove rear seat cushion
3.2 Remove bucket seats

Model 220 with code 401, right side only.

Remove seat adjustment device on rear seat

Model 220 with code 401, right side only.

Fold back cover mats

Disconnect connector from voice control system control module (A35/11)

Unscrew screws (4) from assembly plate (3)

Install in the reverse order

Check for proper function.
