Steering Wheel Does Not Return with Easy Exit / Entry Feature

In model 215 and 220 vehicles, Model Year 2001 only, if the steering wheel position set in memory is at the lowest point and the easy-entry/exit feature
is active, an instance may occur which does not return the steering wheel to the set position after reinserting the key. To resolve this issue, replace the
control unit. A new control unit with updated software is available through spare parts. The new control unit entered production in late June 2001 with
Model 220 VIN A029602 and Model 215 VIN A018993.
