2. Remove the analog Tele Aid control module from under the rear passenger side seat cushion.  Lift up the protective covering under the seat

cushion (Arrow, Figure 1) to access the control module.

3. Disconnect the cables from the analog Tele Aid control module:

a) GPS Antenna connector (E, Figure 2)
b) Antenna connector (D, Figure 2)
c) Power supply connector (C, Figure 2)
d) Power supply connector (B, Figure 2)
e) MOST connector (A, Figure 2)

4. Install the digital Tele Aid control module using the previously removed screws.
5. Connect the cables to the digital Tele Aid control module:

a) GPS Antenna connector (E, Figure 2)
b) Antenna connector (D, Figure 2)
c) Power supply connector (C, Figure 2)
d) Power supply connector (B, Figure 2)
e) MOST connector (A, Figure 2)

NOTICE:
Incorrect installation of connectors can result in bent pins.
Bent pins will result in component malfunction or failure.
Inspect connectors before and after installation.

C. Version Coding

1. The retrofitted digital Tele Aid control module is not activated. Activate the digital Tele Aid control module by following the Preliminary Draft of

"DAS Procedure - Digital Tele Aid Control Module Retrofit" posted on Star TekInfo.

NOTES:
-

TeleAid version coding the Instrument Cluster and the Central Gateway (ZGW) control modules via Star Diagnosis is necessary.

Version coding the head unit is necessary and has to be correctly set via Star Diagnosis: Tele Aid "Not Fitted" for CP TeleAid MY04, and
"Fitted" for LCT TeleAid MY05/06

The engine must be running for the Tele Aid defective warning to display in the Instrument Cluster.

If during Service Call the operator reports he can not hear anything in the vehicle, the Voice Recognition control module (SBS) should be
replaced, even if no error DTCs are detected in the SBS. The discrete micro bypass function to the TeleAid of this control module some times
fails. The normal hands free telephone works fine though. Also discrete micro array should be checked.
