Measure shank length (L).
If shank length (L) of the connecting rod bolts exceeds the maximum permissible dimension the connecting rod bolts must be replaced.

Lubricate thread and bolt head contact surface of conrod bolts with engine oil.

Screw in conrod bolts and tighten to step 1.

Tighten conrod bolts to step 2.
