Seat Cover: Service and Repair
Remove/Install Cover on Driver's Seat Cushion

Preliminary work:

Driver's seat removed. Refer to "Replacement of Driver's Seat". See: Service and Repair 
Driver's seat cushion removed. See: Seat Cushion/Service and Repair/Replacement of Seat Cushion on Driver's Seat 

Seat cushion

lay down with upper side on a suitable surface.

Cover

pull out around the plug-in fold, starting at the side and removing the additional clips (9 pieces).

Rear tightening strips (arrows)

unhook.

Front tightening strips (arrows)

unhook.

Cushion frame

unhook from rubberized hair mat (2), by removing loosening hooks (9) for longitudinal and transverse loosening devices (16 pieces)

Nettle strips (3)

remove from rubberized hair mat

Cover (1)

remove from rubberized hair mat (2).

Cover (1)

place on rubberized hair mat (2) and align.

Longitudinal and transverse loosening wires

connect using plastic clips (16 each).

Cover (1)

align with nettle strips (3) on rubberized hair mat(2) and fix.

Cushion frame (4)

push into rubberized hair mat.

Front and rear tightening strips

attach.

Cover (1)

insert around the plug-in fold on cushion frame (4) whilst depressing cushion frame.

Freedom from creases and correct position of cover (1)

check. Correct if required
