Keyless Entry Receiver: Service and Repair

AR80.30-P-4305M Remove/Install Front Door Infrared Remote Control Receiver

Illustrated On Model 220

Pull out plug (1) in area of door lock

Unscrew mounting screw for left front IR receiver (A26/1) with Torx socket wrench (2)

NOTE:  Secure mounting screw against falling down from Torx socket bolt (e.g. magnetizing Torx socket wrench)

Screw for door handle on front door:  3 Nm

Carefully remove left/right front IR receiver (A26/1, A26/2)

Disconnect electrical connector (3)

CAUTION:  When installing ensure electrical connector (3) is clipped correctly

Install in opposite order

Check of power windows for proper function (one-touch window up feature).
