Design

The rear air nozzle provides for additional specific ventilation of the rear compartment in addition to the air outlets footwell.

Function 
The direction of the air can be adjusted as desired upward, downward, to the left and right with two separately adjustable louvers (2).

The rear nozzle (1) can be opened and closed with the adjustment wheel (4). To open turn the adjustment wheel (4) to the left.

Stowage Compartment Ventilation Nozzle

The stowage compartment ventilation nozzle serves for ventilation of the stowage compartment in the center console.

Function 
To open the stowage compartment ventilation nozzle move lever up
To close the stowage compartment ventilation nozzle move lever down

The air quantity supplied depends on:

-

the air distribution setting,

-

the air quantity setting,

-

the opening position of the vent nozzles in the armrest.

The air temperature corresponds approx. to that of the air exiting from the center nozzles. It cannot be adjusted separately.

NOTE:  Extreme temperatures can be present in the stowage compartment due to the close space. For this reason close the vent nozzles when the heater
is in operation when transporting goods sensitive to heat.
Do not cover the stowage compartment ventilation with objects.

Rear Ventilation

The air flowing through, the vehicle passenger compartment exits the vehicle through the rear vents.

Louver-type flaps installed in the rear vents open as a result of the pressure of the air flowing through the vehicle allowing it to escape.
If a vacuum is present in the vehicle, such as can occur when driving with the windows or sliding root open, the flaps close automatically by the force of
gravity preventing exhaust gas, dust and moisture from being aspirated.
