Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Removing and installing camshaft Hall sensor

Shown On Engine 137 In Model 215

Remove air cleaner

Remove intake manifold

NOTE:  Suspend intake manifold complete with inlet connection, intake air pipes and fuel rail at hood.

CAUTION: The intake manifold must not be disassembled

Unplug connector (arrow) of electrical connection of left camshaft Hall sensor (B6/2) and right camshaft Hall sensor (B6/3).

Remove camshaft Hall sensors (B6/2, B6/3)

Camshaft Hall sensor to cylinder head cover: 7 Nm

Install in the reverse order.
