Checking Follower Joint Of Steering Knuckle Bearing (Installed)

Inspect

DANGER:

-

Risk of death. Death may result if vehicle slips or topples from the lifting platform.

-

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points
specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Raise vehicle.

Check boot (8f) for cracks and damage.

Replace upper transverse control arm (6) if necessary.

Check follower joint play

NOTE:
-

By pulling and pushing vigorously on the front wheel, while feeling the follower joint at the same time

-

Replace upper transverse control arm (6) if necessary.
