Video DVD function
The DVD drive of the COMAND controller unit supports playback of video DVDs. The video image on the color screen is shown on the COMAND
display after the "VIDEO" menu and the "DVD" submenu have been activated.
Video DVD in rear with code (864) Rear entertainment system (model 221), function
The DVD drive of the audio/video controller control unit supports playback of video DVDs in the rear of the vehicle. The video image is shown on the
left rear display, right rear display.
"TV" with code (863) Digital/analog TV tuner, function
The COMAND display and, additionally for model 221 with code (864) Rear entertainment system, the left rear display as well as the right rear display,
can be used to show the TV image.
TV reception is activated by calling up the "TV" menu item on the COMAND display using the turn/push control (A40/9s11) of the front central
operating unit.
The TV combination tuner (analog/digital) is mounted on a bracket in the rear pocket on the left in the luggage compartment.
