RE-TORQUE DOOR HINGE BOLTS

This Service Campaign has been initiated because DCAG has determined that on affected vehicles the torque of the door hinge bolts may not meet
internal specifications. Dealers will re-torque the door hinge bolts on affected vehicles and install caps to cover the bolt heads.

Prior to performing this Service Campaign:

Please check VMI to determine if the vehicle is involved in the Campaign and if it has been previously repaired. If necessary, repair the subject
vehicle during the vehicle's next service.

Please review the entire Service Campaign bulletin and follow the procedure steps exactly as described.

Please note that Recall and Service Campaigns do not expire and may also be performed on a vehicle with a vehicle status indicator.

Approximately 650 vehicles are affected.

Procedure

1.

Re-torque vertical door hinge shaft bolts (A, Figure 1) to 25 Nm on both sides of vehicle.

2.

Install caps on door hinge bolt heads (A).
