Install seal with the new butyl onto the door glass edge. It may be necessary to use special sliding compound spray A000  989 35 60 in the groves
of the seal to assist the installation (Figure 3). 

Note:

The sliding compound spray can be found in Kit A000 580 03 50.

Slide seal down to the installed position

6.

Remove excess butyl and close both windows to set seal firmly into position 1 - 2 minutes.

7.

Check for leaks.
