Unclip wiring harness from body mount (Figure 1, A), in order to gain additional clearance. Do not reattach wiring harness to body mount after
repair procedure.

Inspect wiring harness (Figure 1, B) for evidence of chafing with right wiper motor M617 (passenger side).

If chafing exists, repair wire harness in accordance with WIS document AR00.19-P-0100A.

Install a piece of felt tape onto the wiper motor, and secure wire harness to wiper motor with a cable tie (Figure 2, C).

Install engine compartment water collector cowling. Reference WIS document AR82.30-P-6800SX.
