1.

Remove seatback lining (A, Figure 2) from backrest of left front seat.

Detach two bolts (B) at bottom and pull seatback lining downwards.

Disconnect feed line and close off with stop plug (part # A 124 805 02 44) as shown in Figure 3.

3.

Perform leak test.

Follow the DAS menu Pump control unit-> Complete list of guided tests-> Check entire system for leaks."

4.

Perform one of the following, depending on results of leak test in previous step:

If no pressure loss is detected: Perform Procedures G and H.

If pressure loss is detected: Repeat procedure on right seat.

Note:

If no malfunctioning padding was discovered during the test of the front seats, Procedure C must be performed on the rear seats.

C.

CHECK SYSTEM FOR LEAKS (REAR SEATS)

Remove left rear seat backrest; refer to WIS document AR91.12-P-1620SX.
