Location
The WSS control unit is located at the seat frame of the front passenger seat.

The WSS control unit evaluates the data from the seat occupied recognition pressure sensor and the belt tension sensor. The measurements are used to
assign a weight classification to the weight on the seat, which is then sent to the restraint systems control unit (N2/7) via the interior CAN and the chassis
CAN for precise control of the front passenger airbag unit.
